Home learning27 March 2020 (by admin) |
These are strange and scary times indeed but I would like to thank you for your positive messages, teachers for their unflinching commitment to supporting your child’s learning at home, and all staff for providing onsite education for key workers.
We have tried really hard to strike the right balance for home learning – it is new to us all – but please can I reiterate that although these activities are to help children retain key skills, if you can’t do them or prefer to do something else, it’s okay, we’re all trying our best! Having said that, it has been lovely to see so many children logging on to Times Tables Rockstars and sending PowerPoints and photographs of work – you’ve clearly been very busy!
Teachers will continue to plan work next week and will set a more creative project for the Easter break (this is optional), not the daily activities, which will resume on Monday 20th April.
Please note: For children of critical workers accessing onsite education, we will be ‘sharing’ staff with St.George’s from now on so there may not always be a member of staff present from Netherseal.
Have a good weekend, stay positive and stay safe!
