SAVE ZIMBABWE SALE!25 October 2019 (by admin) |
As you know, Class 1 held their 'Save Zimbabwe Sale' yesterday. It was great to see so many of you here supporting their endeavours and it was a huge success!
These type of events really do sum up our school. We are committed to nurturing our children and developing them into self-assured, well-rounded individuals who make positive contributions to school, the wider community and our global neighbours, and it is fabulous that they feel empowered to make a difference.
Class 1 worked tirelessly: They wrote posters; bought 'stock' for their stalls; wrote letters to businesses for donations; baked cakes; designed games; made pom-poms and friendship bracelets; and collected from parents. They also learned about profit, marketing, persuasive writing, planning and collaborative working - skills and attitudes they can take into adult life.
