I know a lot of you are thinking about secondary school and that this year, in the current situation, transition is going to be a little different. Remember, if I can help in any way, then please get in contact with me via Mrs Machell. However, I am currently in the process of putting together this page of resources and links to help support you with your transition to secondary school, so make sure you keep checking back for further resources, ideas and support.

Be Awesome, Go Big - Transition Resources for Year 6 Pupils

The resources below have been created to prepare Year 6 pupils for the transition to secondary school.

The lessons are based on the books You Are Awesome by Matthew Syed and Go Big by Matthew Burton, although you do not need to have access to or have knowledge of these books in order to complete the tasks. Each session will take pupils through some big ideas to help them on their way to secondary school.

Click on each session in turn and work your way through the big ideas linked to starting secondary school. You can record your answers in one of the booklets uploaded below (there is an editable one if you would like to complete it online and a printable version or you may just decide to record your answers in your topic book. The choice is yours!)
